The Mindfulness Winter Camp is a week-long immersive experience designed to help participants embrace mindfulness in their daily lives. Held at the serene Pema Yoedling Gonpa in Pelrithang, Gelephu, this camp offers a variety of activities blending mindfulness practices with fun, creativity, and self-discovery. It provides a unique opportunity to start the new year with intention, balance, and a deeper connection to oneself and others.
The camp combines ancient mindfulness techniques, such as meditation and spiritual teachings, with modern approaches to creative expression and wellness. Participants will explore mindful breathing, time management, and nutrition while engaging in yoga, games, art, and even photography. These activities are crafted to bring focus and awareness to everyday actions, making mindfulness accessible and practical.
A highlight of the camp is its emphasis on community and celebration. With activities like campfires, music, games, and a New Year’s gathering, the program fosters a sense of togetherness and joy. Creative workshops and reflective exercises, such as a time capsule activity, allow participants to express themselves and set meaningful intentions for the year ahead.
Whether through meditation, sports, or shared meals, this camp encourages participants to slow down, savor the moment, and cultivate habits that nurture the mind, body, and soul. It’s an opportunity to recharge and reconnect in a tranquil setting while learning skills that enrich everyday life.
